|  Arezzo is one of the wealthiest cities in Tuscany and produces gold jewellery and clothing for shops all over the world. It is also the charming town seen in the award-winning movie "Life is Beautiful" with Roberto Benigni.
In Arezzo you can visit Piero della Francesca's frescoes in the 14th century San Francesco Basilica, the Duomo with it's stained-glass windows, a masterpiece of the French immigrant Guillaume de Marcillat, Pieve di S. Maria - a 12th Romanesque church with a lovely facade, Vasaris House bought.
